Poem – Sorry Butts
August 27, 2018 /
Tired of Looking at Your Sorry Butts
Smoking may be enjoyable
even as your most flagrant foible,
But if you must persist,
Please use restraint and resist
The urge to Chuck your butt out your car window,
And take your butt along with you in tow.
Perhaps extinguish it in a bottle
Before you dump it and step on your throttle,
And at least if you must poison yourself,
You don’t have to affect everyone else’s health.
By the way, your toxic butts don’t degrade,
They hang around for up to a decade.
So please be kind,
Be considerate, of conscious mind and don’t leave your butts behind.
(Or one day someone will whip
your sorry ash,
And throw you and your butt in the trash)
Neal Harvey… Good day.
